United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Orkney Grey

i towed my caravan with the FF for the first time. not too far only 35 miles from where i keep it to home, so i can start to get it cleaned and ready for the weekend, off to the lakes for the week.

i must admit i was a bit concerned, the FF is over 100bhp and a bucket load of torque down on my VW, but in fareness it seemed to be ok. the trip to the lakes will let me know for sure, got a few long hard ups and downs to contend with.

i know it will manage it, but it's how it manages it that interests me.

it is a rare old sight anyway at 13 meters.. Shocked that's about 40 foot for you old boys!!.. Laughing Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

Had a new windscreen put in.

Er as above. Was going to work the other day on the M61 and a load of rocks, and I do not mean stones Shocked came off the back of a tipper truck. Was very lucky not to hole a rad or bash the bodywork. So flagged the bloke down and explained he'd be paying for the damage. Tw@ false numbered me, so told dibble his reg number, no shock, not interested. Reported to insurance, equally not interested. £90 excess later and I have a new screen in Very Happy

Have to say, Autoglass did a brilliant job, all new clips used and not a scrap of damage or glass anywhere. Doesn't whistle like a whistley thing down the motorway either. Happy days.

Just about to offer on another property, then once I've got at out of the way, possibly look at a tdv8. I suspect I will be FFRR less for at least a few months though.

Really happy with the sale of mine. To a dealer, for good money !

Picked up one of these so I can finally get my fridge in my house.

Bought a cheap hand winch to get it on the trailer. Turns out it winches for about 1.5 metres only. It also fell apart.

Gunna look for one with a longer wire and more quality!
