Well been busy this afternoon and here is the installation photo's for the receiver unit wired into the gearbox controll area and how I powered it up off an ignition feed.

Well got the air bag off once the battery had been disconnected today and got stuck in!!!!

thats the easy bit if you go back to the start of the thread jonno explains where to put the wires i removed the switchs from the sender
On the back of the TX as you turn it over: left button Left solder point = common Right solder point = NC Right button Top left solder point =common Bottom right solder point = NC "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED" www.futuresecurityservices.co.uk Pretlove says , '' I want my car back " Last edited by pretlove on 26th Jun 2011 9:00pm. whats that massive electronic box for at the bottom of your steering wheel as on mine there was nothing there and thats where i fitted the sender "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

well done rob!!! its looking really good! thanks for the great write up when i was working it out on mine i completely forgot to take pics of the install!!! doh!! i was too busy concentrating it completely slipped my mine! lol

What would help everyone including me!, would be acouple of photo's of a wired up, swicthes removec transmitter!, any takers to supply this??? I have a 2007 Range Rover with heated steering wheel so do not have the additional circuits available through the "clock spring" as JLR call it, BUT studying the wiring diagrams I could see that the heated steering wheel wiring has a seperate ground and 12v supply wire (from the ignition) to the normal steering wheel switches. This is to allow it to be fused seperately I guess.
