OK, if you have an amp fitted in that area and those wires are still free, I guess those connectors are for sat nav or similar. Looks like I have a custom set up then, with no amp but the 9 speakers (if that would work). Yep I'm pretty confused myself now, may just give up on the idea. No longer FF owner but still interested. Not sure if the pre-facelift cars were different but, on my 2007 the sub is in that same cubby but further towards the front of the car. You have to remove the trim to get at it though.

Yeah, I know, there isn't a sub there. I was showing an empty space where the amp would be if I had one lol No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

The sub is behind the carpeted panel just forward of the cubby hole where your amp is fitted. You should be able to see part of the black plastic enclosure peeping from behind it when you remove the access panel. According to the manual if you only have the normal amp fitted you don't have the sub as standard. Having said that according to the same manual I should have an amp to go with my 9 speakers, but I don't. Seems nothing is standard on RRs No longer FF owner but still interested. Yeah at least you have the amp, so you will be able to fit an off the peg sub by taking a feed off it. I'm stuck with what I have The Kenwood units look quite tasty. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE
