Fairly easy fix. With a flat screwdriver pop the round cover under the hinged part of the arm to reveal 3 torx screws. They have most likely come loose... |

Mine does that as well, had a look at it and discovered that the play is in the gearbox on the motor.

Tried the torx screws, but no improvement, mechanic thinks clutch in the gearbox had gone within the mirror mechanism, don’t believe you can buy this separately.

That's a pity it didn't work. Are your mirrors folding by the button? Try holding the button pressed down for a few seconds and see if that fixes anything.
