Watching this with some interest especially the comments referencing the battery.
The one fitted to mine is non AGM more like the one fitted to my X5 years ago. It nearly always flags up low battery if the doors are open for anything more than 2 minutes. I'm guessing it should be an AGM battery really. At the minute everything works fine so I'm reluctant to disturb anything at all!

Mine had factory Agm battery so I continue using agm. It is fine, installed also one of those Bluetooth battery check, 5 bucks, monitors. So I don’t have to plug gap iid all the time when I am paranoiac about SOC. I still see 100% battery goes to 78% in one night but perfect 12.8 volt. Not sure with SOC can be improved with range. This is as good as it gets…in three days no drive I see 66% so far never left longer than that. Now I know exactly what is up with the battery as this little thing has memory of the volts all the time.
Water in fuel issue still not solved…Vaseline really gave me hope but I really tried a little then a little more and gave it a good Vaseline inside out to the sensor. In theory this should make the sensor act like unplugged/blocked. Because it makes no sense Vaseline would help with connections in that area. But anyway it didn’t help my case, still occasionally throws error with yellow restricted mode. Especially when I act fast like get in, push brake, star, release brake…error…as if like car tells me “not so fast buddy”. This almost never happens when I get in, turn on the car, no push brake, wait dash signs light up and go off, then push brake and start, keep pushing the brake, release e brake, move gear to D and release brake…I really tried 8 months by now, never throws water in fuel error. Anyway when error comes I also started driving with the error on as there is really no restriction, then stop the car, lock and leave. On return no error. This is my new technic rather than plugging gap iid all the time Nd erasing and not very practical. Also plugging gap iid while car is on started throwing air bag and bunch of other errors….which I have to turn off the car lock and unlock erase then start…suspecting OBD plug issues but didn’t investigate… I have not tried unplugging water in fuel sensor completely which I saw many people also did that and erased error and never seen it again. This could be my next.
Side note…recently fixed my adaptive dynamics error with my own hands by unscrewing front dampers with super power and rewiring the cables of the sensors. Back to smooth driving. Range Rover 2012 4.4 TDV8 - current
