Well my problem is pretty much as it says in the title. The drivers side headlight is intermittent - why do I know? because today I was sat in the car with the lights on and the light just went off and on then stayed on.

OK I’ll get some bulbs ordered, D3S if my memory serves me. Any thoughts on which ones, I could do with a bit more brightness, these peepers of mine are getting old Geoff |

Actually there is another fault appeared and its a parking sensor problem, apparently they are not working. Failed about the same time as the Headlight became intermittent so I will check the earth stud - when I find it!! Geoff |

Whichever side headlight is playing up, remove the front section of the arch liner on the same side as the faulty headlight and check the earth mounting stud, there will be 4 earths to the stud (2 eyelets with 2 cables attached to each eyelet). Give it a bit of a tug and it'll probably fall off. I seem to recall that the ABS module is affected by the o/s earth and is one of the first things to flag a fault. Nearside is PDC sensors, headlight and low coolant/bonnet open faults.
