Yes agreed, definitely going with petrol - hoping somewhat more reliable then tdv8 models. |

journeys of predominantly 8-10 miles a day are prime DPF issues I'd say so yes, you should be in a better position. The 5.0l guys will be along soon to say how good and reliable they are, I understand the earlier ones needed the timing chains monitoring but are largely reliable. Enjoy. First time FFRR owner |

Agreed that the petrol is much better than diesel for what you are doing. I regard the petrol as simpler than the diesels and more reliable. Check for corrosion of pipework underneath, eg anti roll control which can be expensive and parts are not always available.

most of the ones that I have seen are petrol...... there a few about and they've been for sale for ages...... buyers market |
