oil and filter change at the stealers is £295 max ! overfinch modified

I got prices from several local LR dealers for the basic oil and cabin filter (1 year) service.

4 of them charged £459.87.

1 of them charged £572.55.

Well, not so shocked really.

To be honest, with a vehicle older than about 4 or 5 years, its more provenance than MDH which counts.
i.e. using OEM JLR parts, 4/5 OEM spec tyres all the same, frequent interim oil/filter changes etc.

I do interims myself at 2500 miles/6 mths due to mostly short journeys, but still use LRMD or Specialist Indy for annual services to keep agood specialist history, even though I can do most work myself.

OEM oil filter is Mahle. Oil is whatever the dealer buys, so you're at no disadvantage. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Sounds about right. They'll want £150 for the oil & filter, and will be charging at least £150/hour for labour.
