I would start checking the wiring, starting from the engine bay. Take your time with a good torch and start from the exposed portions of the wiring under the bonnet. Then remove the acoustic cover and then the ECU box cover. Look for obvious damage and chafing.

right wife just txt and told me fault came back when she started the car |

Can't see the photos (404 error) but the SAS can indeed be faulty intermittently. |

hi yea sorry was trying to delete old photos but deleted them all .....when wife gets home ill check error codes and post the sas is the only thing i haven't looked at just due to where it is but i have a replacment

Granted it's a different part design, my SAS would be OK one day and another wouldn't. Seemed to do well at low ambient temperatures and almost always failed after the car was left sitting outside on a hot day... |

Looks like mine is ok in the sun …..I’m going to change it anyway if it’s started to play up it’s not going to get any better |
