ECU Cover in Battery Compartment TS30 | |
I have just bought a TS30 bit to remove the two torx security bolts from the cover that stops anyone getting the ECU out, which you have to do when replacing a car battery on the 2010 to 2012 L322's
It worked really well, but you need a good ratchet spanner as they were in pretty tight, once removed I replaced them with standard 10mm bolts with a washer, so the next owner of my car does not have to mess around with these stupid TS30 bolts
I thought it might be a good idea to post this on to anyone on the forum free of charge, in the hope that anybody else may think the same as me, and when they have used it, they can then send it on to the next person on our lovely amazing forum
Just reply and I will post it to the first person that wants to do this, and PM me your address, I don't want any money to change hands, and I don't want it posted back to me.
Its just a free service to the next person, and hopefully it will help several other owners further down the road who are unaware of the use of the TS30's in the battery area of the L322
