Ok guys so the RR has been behaving itself right up until we decided to go for a short break, just before we went away it went into limp mode whilst towing, a quick diagnostic showed map sensor A, so cleaned them both and swapped them over since I didn't know which was A, then twice whilst driving around after we got to our destination it decided to go into limp mode again, this time whilst going up fairly steep long hills, again showing Map sensor A.... So I'm guessing that it's not the sensor, last time this happened several years ago it turned out to be one of the four short manifold hoses. I've just been under the bonnet took the engine cover off and the pollen cover off, I can't find any misting on any pipe work or the rocker covers.
Could it be caused by one of the upper intercooler hoses if there well worn, I can't find any obvious holes but there's lots of cracks both outside and inside both pipes.
Also is the anyway I can get to both turbo actuator rods and move the by hand (to check they move freely) from the engine bay, or do I have to jack the car up and remove the wheels and liners to get at them, all work will be done on the drive.
