Switzerland 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Adriatic Blue

New driveshaft front right side couple weeks ago and now, like every two years, a new battery. This time not a Varta but an EXIDE 100A 830 crank Amps. Let's see if it lasts more than two years.
Oh yeah, almost forgot about; in Dezember I got a new mechatronic in my transmission, turnd out it did not solve the problem because it was a Censored driveshaft and the Censored stupid German ZF Indie haven't seen it.
Well, it was only 3500 Swiss Francs, why get annoyed about it. Big Cry

This one goes without words

Just a bit of pressing power needed to get the old seized bearing off. New one slid on nice, and now the drive is so much better.

And now finally

About to swap out mine.
The missus called me with "the car is vibrating a lot/often even when I just roll to a traffic light so I bought a new centre bearing as well.
Possibly fitting it this week if the weather holds out.... Rolling Eyes

Greetings from across the pond, I'll keep this going.... 2010 L322 5L SC

In the last 2 weeks I've done,

- Cleaned all the road Tar the previous owner had driven over. It was all over the rear bumper and front door lowers. Also, all over the retractable floor boards. Since those are silver aluminum, I sprayed WD 40 all over, let it soak in a bit, then went at it with fine steel wool. They look new.

- While I was at it, I polished up the chrome exhaust tips.

- Black high heat paint on the exhaust

- Lubed up the sliding sunroof and folding mirrors. They're both silent now Very Happy

- Removed the brake vacuum pump which was leaking. Replaced the seals with RKX brand seals. buttoned it all up, and good to go!

- My rear wiper wasn't making good contact. I removed the spoiler, tossed the old wiper in the garbage. I lubed up the pivot, got it moving real good. It was stiff as a board. Almost took out my rear window in the process! New wiper (went to the store and bought a 16 incher, had to go back and return for a 17er.)

- My car was missing the offside wind deflector at the very bottom of the car. Paid $35 from eBay, installed that.

Things to do
- Fresh brake fluid
- front and rear diff oils and TC fluid
- in dire need of new tires. Date code is 2014 and the fronts are almost bald!
- received AliExpress peltier unit for drivers heated seat. Gotta get into the backrest and check it out.

Busy few weeks, and it seems as though there is ALWAYS something that needs doing. But man, is it oh so worth it!

£710 to HMG for permission to drive occasionally on the roads I contributed to build & maintain.

Bring on road use pricing, with the mileage I do in my fatty and being out here in the country I should save a bundle.

Just thought I throw that in there for healthy debate Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Fuji White / Jet 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster

Scotland 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Stornoway Grey

In an attempt to freshen up the rear of my 2008 s/c, I bought cheapo reverse lights from ebay and led bulbs.
The bulbs are too deep for the enclosures and the quality of the £25 reverse lamps are as you'd expect.

Oh well, buy cheap buy twice I guess. Neutral ---------------------------------
