Hdc fault, among others

Hello all. Need a bit of advice. I’ve got a vogue 3.6 07 reg. had it 5 years and absolutely love it. presently it’s going into limp mode and showing a full house, Hdc fault, gearbox fault, suspension lowering etc. The thing is it’s always within half a mile from starting out first drive of the day and a switch off and switch on cures it. And it will be absolutely fine all day with many stop offs etc shopping for an hour and it’s fine. Just that initial start out. Any help would be gratefully received.

Sounds like a failing battery. If the voltage is slightly low they can throw up various faults. This may be why it’s ok when it’s run a while and topped the battery up.

That would make sense. I’ll change the battery first. I don’t suppose they last forever. Battery was replaced about 3 years ago but the car does sit on the drive all week.
Many thanks for your help.
