4.4 tdv8 Some engine maintenance

Hi folks
This is a donor engine I acquired, I’m doing few bits of preventative maintenance before installing it to its new home.
• new oil pump
•(most)o rings, oil cooler, thermostat
•turbos
•injectors
•egt lhd exhaust manifold
•starter + alternator
•pulleys and belts

Anything else that would be worth doing when engine is conveniently accessible?

Water pump
Glow plugs
How much of a pain is the power steering pump to get to in situ?

EGR cooler is a PITA to get to and somewhat prone to leaking so may be worth putting a new one on - I guess it depends on your budget? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Will look into the egr cooler good point they would not be simple swapping out insitu, the power steering pump looks manageable possibly bit better than the alternator anyhow, suppose most things are a real fiddle insitu with this engine.
I replaced no internal engine components barr the oil pump, seems it was going well prior to being removed from the damaged l322.
I was considering swapping the crank pulley but looking at cost of genuine ones I might use the one I have and use a new bolt.

Can I ask what went wrong with the original engine?
