Headlight upgrade worth it?

I'm interested to learn about experiences upgrading the headlamps on the L405.

One of the areas my L405 seems to be lacking against my old L322 is the headlights. It seems a little non-sensical that they went backwards.

I have a 2015 Autobiography and I'm surprised that as top of the range, the headlights don't have a cornering function like my old L322 did?

I'm looking at a couple of options really. 1. Upgrading the dipped beam bulbs (I think my current ones are 4300K and some high performance 6000K bulbs may make a big difference) and 2. Experience with the facelift style lights (can the genuine ones be retrofitted [looks like the grille needs changing]) / experience with the aftermarket retrofits? 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Hi Stan, you replaced the HID bulbs with LED?
Do you know the bulb type / can you recommend the bulb? 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Colour temperature change will only make the foreground lighter at the expense of distance luminosity.

I swapped mine out for the Osram night breakers and whilst it was a minor improvement - pretty much a pointless upgrade. Agree these lights are disappointingly poor. Not all L322’s had corner lighting though.

JamboM3 - I personally prefer 6000K and find it much crisper and less straining on my eyes. Whilst not technically brighter for a like-for-like bulb, I do think overall visibility is improved (for my eyes at least).

I have purchased the S&D branded 6000K D3S LED bulbs for around £26 per pair. And fitted this evening.

Here is a photo of existing Osram D3S Xenon bulb vs the LED bulb. You can tell which is noticeably brighter and whiter! 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
