Hardwiring a dashcam. Suggested constant and switched live.

I’m fitting a dashcam to my L405 this weekend. It’s a Road Angel Halo View. Bought a separate hardwiring kit and plan on connecting it up to the fuse box behind the lower glovebox.

Just looking for recommendations for which fuses to tap into for the constant and switched live feeds.

Thanks in advance for any help and assistance.

For a switched live, just use the heated steering wheel fuse Thumbs Up

There's no sensitive electronics on that circuit to upset. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Building up to this job and plucking up courage to yank the overhead console off. Is there a secret technique or does it just pull off?

Would anybody know if the PowerfulUK Dash Cam Power Tap-In Loom can be used in a 2019 model? It mentions possibly the 2018 facelift on the website but they have not tested it, has anybody tried? _______________________________________________

I have had mine for 5 years now, its a Qvia T790, its crystal clear video, I would think there are more modern and with more advanced features & tech etc on the market today. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Simply yank it off! There’s a Powerful video on YouTube but get one of those plastic pry tools and start from the edge furthest away from the windscreen and it pops off.
