I felt very much the same about the seat base when I got my 2017. I found (by accident) that if you push the base further out (towards the steering wheel) - it suddenly becomes much more comfortable. Worth a shot!

The problem with the facelift seats is that the controls are in the door not in the seat unit, so I suspect it's a whole world of pain, if in fact it is actually achievable. I have had my drivers seat cushion repadded by a specialist car upholsterer and now like new, if the base has started to collapse then it won't be cooling as well, also worth checking filter for cooling. Good shout on the filters, I replaced these on my L322 and they were not too pricey. You could just clean/hoover them - my L322 ones were too far gone sadly. |

Can you recommend an upholsterer? The one local to myself in Southampton is winding his business down and retiring. I really am not a fan of the seat bases, and would like it to be like my late L322, which had fabulously comfortable seats! 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8 |

I would stick my neck out and say its impossible for a few reasons. Cost for one, the wiring looms would all need "enhancing!" Can-Bus will be a completely different 'language' so ECU's wouldn't communicate... Safety systems like seat airbags wouldn't be compatible... To mention but a few... |

I don't mind driving somewhere for the right people to do the job.

Nope I can't recall, just speak to them tell them what you want, they are very accommodating and very busy. |
