Going by ownerinfo.landrover.com electric headrests cannot be removed, whereas manual ones can be. There is also reference to being able to adjust the angle of the headrest unless the car has rear seat entertainment screens (by using the button on the side). If it's possible have you tried changing the angle? My 2017 car's headrests are winged (wings generally folded flat though) and don't push my head forward, so assuming yours are standard LR headrests it ought to be possible to move them?

They're winged - as per the thread title and the last sentence of my post ! Also pretty easy to remove by hand as it turns out, you don't need any tools or anything. I'm now scouring ebay for alternatives. Jag XF look favourable so far. |

Fitted XF headrests. Seems better. Will be doing a 160 mile round trip tomorrow so I'll see how it goes.
