A year ago I fitted a $60 pair of ebay LED D3S replacement globes after a 2yo Osram failed that would have cost $90 to replace. Whilst I find the LED slightly better than the HID globes, particularly lighting the left verge in oncoming traffic on rural roads, I recently purchased a $33 pair of ebay Super Vision 4300K HID D3S globes in case a LED one fails or I find some other reason to change back to HID. |

100% go with the LED hid replacements, plug and play. I got mine from Aliexpress. I had previously fitted new Hid bulbs thinking mine were degraded but still gave uninspiring light. I have since swapped the high beam to LED too and am now happy with the output on our dark unlit roads

I used high and low led replacements as recommended by Sam’s You tube channel. They are very good. They give a whiter clearer beam. No chance of dazzling people with the low beam as they are still projector lenses |

I fitted HID high beam fill-ins back in 2015 just after I purchased the vehicle, having done the same to my D4. |
