So, few weeks ago I had my windscreen replaced by Autoglass in Yeovil. it was absolutely hammering it down and TBH I was surprised when they went ahead with the job. Prior to starting and I was told the camera may need a calibration and they would do it if required. Cut to an hour and a half later and I got the call that all was ready, still hamming it down i duly went to collect my RR. To my surprised it was parked the furthest it could be from the repair centre, so I got wet even more.
it’s been a few weeks, but I’ve not needed the intermittent wipe, until last week. holy cow it seemed like an age until the intermittent wipe would actually wipe and on max it was still a now show. I know its first world problems but doing the intermittent wipe your self is a pain in the arse.

I rang Autoglass totally expecting to be fobbed off but to my surprise and credit to Autoglass I was told its re-booked in for a calibration/check and if required the screen will be replaced.


After service pretty good shame it’s had to resort to a possible replacement.

Good too hear. Did they take the screen out in the pouring rain or was the car under cover? overfinch modified

Not totally sure they have a massive umbrella and a drive in workshop, And the windscreen was sodden when they replaced it
