United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Carpathian Grey
Diagnostics scanner

Hello to all fellow FFRR owners. Ive just acquired a 2018 VSE SDV8 after nearly 20 years since being a RR owner (2001 P38 DHSE) Im sure the question I am asking has been covered many times but I cant seem to find anywhere suggesting a decent diag tool, im very hands on and adaption capabilities would be necessary.

TIA

2 votes for GAP IID - but you need the right version to work on a 2018 vehicle. Wink

It must be the G3 version to work on newer L405's.

EDIT - I see there's also a G4 version now, so that'll no doubt work as well.

If you own several cars then there are advantages in going for a non specific LR tool. I own an iCarsoft CR Max and have used that on my L405 to live data AC pressures and temperatures when adding in refrigerant. I've monitored the transmission oil temperature when I changed the oil and sump. I've reset the service notification. I've pinpointed a Maff issue on one inlet and changed the sensor. I've done a battery reset after changing the battery. It has lots of other features I haven't needed to look into such as with air suspension calibration.

I own and help out with issues on a good many family member cars so a decent feature tool that does all is much more use to me than one specific to the LR and it's cheaper.
