Gearbox Megaflush by Bodsy

Well, after a few attempts, managed to track him down via email and get a slot the following week due to a cancellation. Ian arrived as advised at 9am prompt and got to work.

He is doing ZF 8 speed megaflush, front diff, rear diff and transfer box oils.

Not driven it yet, as he is still under it 🤣.

If you notice a difference you left it too late to do the change but the new oil will help....

If you don't notice a difference then you changed it in time...!!!

Thumbs Up Pete

I had the other driveline oils changed too, so can’t attribute what bit resulted in what, but it’s definitely quieter when you are coasting. Wasn’t bad before I hasten to add. He said the rear diff had been changed before but front diff was definitely ready for doing.

Happy it’s done now and money well spent I think.

Nice one. I’ve done less than 200 miles since mine was done. It’s still quieter….

Nice one! May I ask what he charges for that work? I’d like to treat mine to fresh oil in the diffs, transmission and transfer box.

Assume it comes with a new gearbox sump or sump gasket and filter?

Thanks

Charlie
