Email Robin Hall at Duckworth LR, he'll sort one out for you.

Just under £50 delivered, 10 minute job to fit it.

Dunc. The life you have is the only one you'll get; make the most of it.

Interested in this as well, what is the LR product number?

As it is nearly impossible to get my 255/50xR20 alloy wheel out of the back. At home I could use some smart lifting techniques, but on the road (when it's raining and dark 😀) I wouldn't be able to get out by myself.

You're going to need:

1 x LKTL000011 (BRACKET SPAR)
1 x LEPX000030 (BRACKET SPAR)
2 x LYYP000400 (BOLT).

The easiest solution is to email Rob Hall (robin.hall@duckworths.co.uk) and mention the FFRR forum.

He'll sort you out.

Seems they were standard on early cars but not on the late ones. I’d have taken the one out my TD6 had I have known…..

So easy to get the wheel out using the tailgate as a lever.

Robin has left Duckworth’s now, I believe Sophie has taken the reins again.

How the lifting straps are not standard anymore is beyond me Question
Why does LR think we have superpowers?

It's not maybe! Wink
If the car is fitted with a repair kit only you don't need a lifting strap at all, sure. Razz
In case of a non repairable roadside flat you need to call a flatbed.
With a non full size spare, that I'm going to assume is kinda easy to get out of the boot, you still need to lower that full size flat into the boot = you're gonna need that strap!
Did L322's ever came with a non full size spare or a repair kit?
Mine has the full size spare and it wasn't until I was preparing for a holiday where I was planning to store a studded tire in the boot and 3 in the back so I could swap wheels myself that I REALLY needed that strap.
Luckily I found one on 'the bay of e" as someone on here put it Very Happy
One would expect a LR salesperson to strongly recommend getting the lifting strap once a full size spare is ordered.
In my opinion.

It’s obviously way easier to slide a full size wheel and tyre into the empty space than it is to get it out. To be fair I didn’t find it especially difficult to get the full size out without a lifting kit and only bought one as I saw one going cheap on eBay. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

I'm not especialy strong in the upper body but it helps putting the suspension in access mode and easing the front of the tyre up and working it out gradualy. The strap just makes it faster and easier.
I'm a big advocate of having a full size spare rather than a space saver as a space saver only gets you to your nearest tyre fitter at a slow speed so could end up being a major delay of a journey depending on where you break down, what time of day it is and if the nearest tyre fitter has a matching tyre or pair for the axle. Mind you a full size spare is only of use if you can physicaly change it yourself and even if a breakdown service turns up they may say they can't remove thetyre due to H&S rules..... 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Having struggled to fit a 21” spare the other day, I’ll be retrofitting a strap. My old 2002 had one and it’s a godsend. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
