3.6 has EGR but no DPF as standard. You can map out the EGR with a software purchase add-on for the GAP tool and fit blanking plates jut to make sure there is no EGR flow. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Thanks a lot for the info. Is there any way I can check if it is already blanked and mapped out? Just by looking it via gap iid tool? |

Take off the engine cover and have a look down towards the egrs. If you can see two of these then it won’t have been blanked off. (I forgot to refit mine when I sold the car to Cinch - oops!)

Those hoses can be blanked off with plates on the flat flanges and still be in place to pass any nosey MOT tester. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Fair enough. I guess I’m just not as sneaky as some and relied on how MOT testers are not supposed to remove any covers - mine certainly didn’t in the three years after I blanked them. 2017 Jaguar F Pace 25t Portfolio - still part of the JLR family 😀

Thanks a lot all I will definitely look into under the cover. I thought some simple live view from gap tool would or should tell me but I guess it is not possible. For example when I select DPD values in live view in gap tool it shows n/a, something like that I was looking for. I tried also Egr temp values and they actually show the values so I suspect I still have them, not mapped out. |
