Same here. Was indeed the culprit.

Interestingly the brass filter looked very clean from the outside (unlike other photos I've seen here on this forum). But when connecting my compressor to it, not much air was passing.

Tried to clean it first with water, then with ordinary kitchen cleaner but that was not sufficient. Removed it now temporary and ordered a new one for € 4 (excluding shipping).

I love this forum! Helps you in so many ways, so much knowledge collected here! Wouldn't be surprised if official dealers also peek this forum for their advantage 😀.

Amazing JLR knew there was an issue with early cars and yet they continue using the same parts... They MUST know they will fail!
