i dont think anyone has done it here ..sounds fairly easy, dis-connect battery , undo the starter motor bolts and remove...let us know how you do/did it .. |

Sounds like a sh#t of a job Hope I never have to do. But then Its not as bad as the new Toyota TDV8. Starter moter is inside bellhousing that has to be split. $14000 in done at a garage. About $10000 (not sure what that is in pounds[gbp 6400 ???]) just for the starter moter so Ive been told

found on rave that the oil dip stick holder can be removed to make the job a bit easier, i know its a bit late now, sorry mate.. ... - .- -.

I've looked for the pipe thats not connected but on Rave I cannot find any info + after viewing 4 pages it automatically reverts back to the front info page ? Also it's only the NAS 4.4 engine |

Removed old and fitted new starter motor on Friday evening to beat the rain.Took 30 min's start tnow working superb |

The pipe you are talking of i think comes from the vac pump its to do with the active engine mounts fitted |
