I've tried searching different phrases on the site and I am getting getting a lot of results so I'm hoping someone who has done this job can just clear this up for me.

I'm getting squeaky belt noises. I've been trying to search for a Kit but it seems these parts are sold individually. What exactly am I replacing when I go to do this job:

There are 7 part numbers listed in the above and noticed from most peoples posts they just replace the tensioner and belt but should all these parts be replaced if you are in there?

I will also try to do the starter motor and water pump as I believe if you are in that deep you might as well as my car is 2012 with 214km on it. Current yokes

I did both belts, tensioner, all the pulleys/idlers and water pump. Dayco belts and genuine LR parts for the rest. Also replaced alternator, genuine Denso.

When I did my 2011 TDV8 (now sold) a few years ago, I only replaced the belt and tensioner. But that was at around 80K miles due to a noisy tensioner (housing had starting to crack which is / was a common problem). The car was also only around 6 yrs old at that time. I understand the newer tensioners are better and less prone to cracking.

Once the fan & belt was off, I checked all the other pulleys and everything span freely, without any play and without any noises at all (otherwise I would have changed them as well).

You have a few more miles (km's?) on your vehicle, it's also getting on for 12 years old now, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to change all the pulleys as you suggest. As you say, you might as well do the alternator whilst you're in there, and water pump for good measure - especially if you're planning on keeping the vehicle!

Not sure if there's a specific kit for this, I'd give Advanced Factors a ring, see if they can do you a good deal on the whole lot!  1992 RR Classic 3.9 efi Vogue

Thanks for that valuable info. I was hoping to get a full kit from the likes of Dayco with all pulleys, belts and bolts but it doesn't seem to exist. I have found the Denso alternator at a reasonable price €250 and the water pump isnt bad either.

I have tried advanced factor for a one or two bits and they are great to respond to emails and help but their carriage to Ireland is too high. They needed €50 for 2 sensors and 2 brake splash plates. Not their fault, carriage to the UK has always been cheap from Ireland but from the UK to Ireland has always been expensive. Current yokes

Just done it on my 3.6 TDV8 due to squeaking and discovered it's the power steering pump...

Not a bad job on the 3.6, getting the belt back on was a bit of a pig mind.

I use Maltings 4x4 for all my parts, reasonable prices for genuine parts. Always helpful and next day delivery.

Thanks Pete but unfortunately none of the UK suppliers are good value for us in Ireland now due to brexit and carriage charges. Its often far cheaper for me to go to a main dealer here and order from them but the delays in getting parts due to JLR warehouse issues can be frustrating.

I think Ill price up genuine rollers like you say and get the Dayco belts and tensioner then Current yokes
