When I did my 2011 TDV8 (now sold) a few years ago, I only replaced the belt and tensioner. But that was at around 80K miles due to a noisy tensioner (housing had starting to crack which is / was a common problem). The car was also only around 6 yrs old at that time. I understand the newer tensioners are better and less prone to cracking.

Just done it on my 3.6 TDV8 due to squeaking and discovered it's the power steering pump...

I use Maltings 4x4 for all my parts, reasonable prices for genuine parts. Always helpful and next day delivery. |

Thanks Pete but unfortunately none of the UK suppliers are good value for us in Ireland now due to brexit and carriage charges. Its often far cheaper for me to go to a main dealer here and order from them but the delays in getting parts due to JLR warehouse issues can be frustrating.
