One part of the loom should be quite long. It needs feeding down through the dash to a module behind the glove box.

It might be different on your 04 and I've only fitted systems on an 06 and 10 before, but on those vehicles there is a module tucked right up behind the glove box by the bulkhead, barely visible. On the loom supplied with the screen, there may be a part of it with a longer cable on it. You need the 5 mtr extension lead which goes through to the rear cubby...

I know on my L320 due to the fibre network I had to use this bad boy
