It’s broken isn’t it! So random with no real reason for high premiums or declines.

No SAC offered they certainly don't bin records in Lancashire Sad

So just renewed this time with Tesco £420 (inc £45 cash back) including me fessing up to speeding last month.

Added SWMBO even though she never drives the car and it must help being old and living in the sticks, it would have probably been even cheaper if it wasn't for the speeding Very Happy .

I didn't bother with protecting my NCD and Tesco increased my voluntary excess to£950 to be added to their compulsory of £250 - so thats a bit on the high side. Geoff

I'm in the sticks and have seen insurance go up from £340 in 2022 to £700 in 2023 and I've been checking prices online as the insurance renewal is in 5 weeks and it's looking like around £1400 for a recognised premium insurer. The ones who don't mess you around.

I can get the no customer service available type of insurance from £450.

Hi,

Next step will be compulsory excess of £500 or more.

Potentially coming to a street near you.

Strangely this is not an uncommon sight in Beijing, one of my mother-in-laws neighbours has the very same thing for her Lexus.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

As we’re sharing, my first premium was quoted/paid on 28th December.

2005 4.2sc. 3rd car so no NCD. No accidents, claims, convictions. Based in SE London.

I used compare the market and put in the max £1000 voluntary xs. Premium is £850 incl recovery. The insurer is esure.

Based on what I’ve seen on here, and having just filled up for £124, it doesn't seem too bad. Des

Have just tried the following insurers and they all respond with some variation of
"Sorry, we can’t insure you..."

-Churchill
-Flow
-Admiral
-Saga
-Marshmallow
-NFU

1stCentral and Esure appear to be the only options and they're over £1000/year. Current:
