Well I’ve had my 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE for 18 months now and the ACC has never worked correctly and Cruise would only work as and when it felt like it.
So after spending months reading thread after thread after thread on here I finally took the plunge and bought a 2nd hand Radar unit and fitted it today.
Went to try the Car and it and the system works an absolute treat 😎😎😎
Set Cruise up on a big A Road and when I approached a slower Car, sure enough the Car slowed down and kept the Gap.
This went down to 30 mph through a Village and then accelerated with the Car in front as we left the Village and the guy in front put his foot down.
Just wish I’d done this 12 months ago but £280 for a Scrapyard Part was a bit of a risk just in case it didn’t work etc.
So glad I took the chance and I now have a fully working Vogue SE 👍👍👍 2001, 4.4 TDV8, Vogue, Baltic Blue
