I’m contemplating what’s next after my L322 and I’m wanting a 2018+ L405. However, I’m torn.

Test drive one. Make sure you run down the electric, that won’t take too long. Then find a steep hill to drive up. |

So… the 525 is just petrol? I’m not familiar with the L405 models.

Wouldn’t reduced demand drive prices up as economies of scale fall out of favour for diesel? 2012 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Santorini black ivory leather |

I think the P400e is an ideal solution in the right circumstances. I haven’t got one but the majority of our journeys are under 20 miles so the electric would cover that and then use the petrol engine for longer journeys.

No it wouldn’t. First year economics, if the demand for a product goes up, so does the prices; if the demand falls, so does the price. If the supply falls, the price goes up and if the supply increases then the prices falls. Maybe watch Harry’s Garage latest video where he talks about why he has gone back to diesel (d300 in RRS) from electric and P400e L405. Current: RR L322 2010
