United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Baltic Blue
Heat settings

We’ve had our 2013 SDV8 for one week and I’m getting my head around the heating. The manual says use the auto function for better distribution of heat. So I’ve been trying it. The fan appears to stay on even once the cabin gets warm - and dial down to 19 degrees. Is that normal?

Also, in this weather it’s nice to have heat in the seats. But it’s a pain turning it on every time we enter the car. Can the seat heating be saved in the settings?

I understand on auto the seats should get heat anyway, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Thanks 👍

Within the climate settings you can adjust the auto fan speed between Low/medium/high to suit. 2016 SDV8 AB

Just been out and my wife mentioned the seat without any prompting, saying it’s a pain setting the heat every time you get in the car 🤷‍♂️

It appears we’re not the only ones to point it out

Is there nothing you can do on the 2013? I mean even if you pop to the shops for 5 mins when you restart the car you have reset the seats. Daft.

Apparently, controls were changed in later models..
