All tyres are 'OK' / 'never had a problem' until you need to stop in an emergency on a wet road.... 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

I've also done that many times as well. I've driven hundreds of thousands of miles on 'budget' tyres.

The tyre tests under controled conditions would not support this. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

>30k on my Verde's and still 4.5mm tread on them when I checked. Never felt anything other than fully confident under a lot of conditions inc a bit of snow. Woukd never buy cheap tyres ( for any car) as have had bad experiences with them - frightening wet handling / braking , poor life to name just 2 issues. Good testing by people like Auto Bild show this time and time again. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Yeah, I used that. Which is why I can say the rolling diameter is about the same.

They are very close and width is only +5mm on each side so unlikley to rub. Are 275/40 22 stock size? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |
