is there any way of setting the cabin temperature of the FBH? I set it the other morning and it had worked in that the screen and side windows had started to clear but the cabin was still pretty cold. I cant use the remote engine start because of the immobiliser preventing engine start up so need the FBH to defrost and could do with it being a bit warmer on entry First time FFRR owner

I normally leave my temp set at 28' and that warms the cabin, so always nice and toasty when i get in, is that just luck or the right thing to do??

What temp are you leaving your dials set at?

Set at 28 all zones for an 7:30 FBH start and 8am leave the house for tomorrow. Ambient temp set to be about +1deg C tomorrow so hoping for a toasty car (New batteries a few weeks ago and a full tank of fuel) First time FFRR owner

You are right doesn't smell and sounds like a jet engine taking off, just checked mine again and as long as temp dials are turned up then you should be good to go. makes sense as i use in summer to blow cool air.

Nope, but I did have a low coolant warning (that went out 5s after car start). This happened a few weeks ago at -5dec C and the coolant level was fine. I’ve asked service dept to look while it is in. I suspect I may have a sensor that doesn’t like the cold and prevents the Fahd from starting First time FFRR owner

I was in Oxfordshire yesterday morning with an overnight -6degree air temp, I'd set the FBH and it did come on but its effect was limited. There was a cleared area at the bottom centre of the front screen that was clear, an area about 25" x 10", the car wasn't warm but it was also not -6 either. It almost looked like it started but then stopped before it could finish its magic.

I looked on my coding machine thing and couldn't see any fault codes.

Any further ideas anyone?

Can it set the timed climate to do two consecutive runs, back to back?

ETA - just been out in it and engine was lovely and warm, parked up at home and set the FBH heater to come on 30 minutes later, temp set to 28deg. I came back to it after 20-25 minutes and the FBH had stopped but the car was quite warm, much warmer than if the heater hadn't been on. I suspect the run time of the FBH is cutting out before the car can get too warm (when starting from cold). I'll try back to back heats next. I'll get this sorted just before spring when I then dont need it! First time FFRR owner
