Difficult Starting

Hello All,
could someone help me to understand what happen ?
My 2010 L322 Vogue 3,6 get difficult to start the first time in the morning, let explain:
Pushing on the Start button, the engine begins to run 1 second and stops.
Try again, stops, try again it's OK.
No error message onthe dashboard.
The battery is full, starter is new and during the day, the car starts without any problem.
Just one thing: the diesel filter had been replaced last week. No leak, no smell. Possible relation?
Please help Bow down Bow down

I had the same on my 3.6 two weeks ago when it was around freezing temperatures.
In the end I kept the key turned in the starting position until it kept running. Didn't take long, maybe 3 seconds or so and it ran and started like nothing ever happened before.

Thank you for your prompt answer Dutchgit !
There is no key on mine, just the start button, but I will try tomorrow morning to keep the finger a bit longer than now and keep you informed.
Happy Christmas

Hello Everyone, I'back with the starting issue in the morning.
I was convinced that I had a pre-heating problem.
We tested all that was possible to test: nothing, no default, diesel pressure OK...
You remember that the diesel filter had been replaced recently ?
The starting problems had appeared the day after the replacement, so we replaced the new Mann filter by the old LR one (after serious cleaning...)
And now all is OK !!!!
I've bought a new Bosch filter, replaced yesterday and tryed to start this morning with ice on all the car...
Yep ! all is good.
Someone understand what happened ?
JC

Air in the system? Possibly nothing to do with the filter itself, but re-assembly and purging sorted the issue.
