If any member has still got the old wiring, particularly the plastic plugs that fit into the top of the strut, please don’t bin them,... PM me and I will gladly pay postage for them.

Checked the rears tonight no broken wires at the plugs so i think next thing is to get it plugged in and see what comes up Sad
It seems that breaks in the rear wiring aren't as obvious as the front breaks. If not already done, unplug each connector to check underneath the wires.

Hi Mike, had this on my L322 S/C and fixed it with the wiring kit (x2). Assume it's the Adaptive Dynamics fault, not Active Dynamic. Happy to pop round and take a look depending on where you are in Kent!

Cheers,

Hi Andy,

Do you happen to know what the part number or where to get the repair kits please. I too have a L322 5.0 S/C 2010 that has just popped the error up on the dash so want to replace these cables on the front struts before anything else.

Thanks for your help

Tim

I have just had the Adaptive dynamic fault - pop up on the dash - my vehicle is a 2011 4.4 VSE and the terrain mode doesn’t work and it drives like there is no damping at all - very unforgiving

Is the consensus that this is a wiring between the suspension ECU or sensor issue that my independent Langley 4x4 should be able to address reasonably easily ?

It’s usually a broken wire to the top of one of the front struts.
Very easy repair.

If I can repeat my plea from a couple of posts up, dated December 2019.

If anyone fits the new harness, please Don’t bin the old plugs and grommets.
I will gladly pay postage if you PM me.

Cheers

You could ring Rob at Duckworths, mention the forum and quote the part number.
He will sort you out.

Mine was caused by a loose connector to a height sensor. I fault scan with a GAP IID tool or your indy should locate the component that has failed. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
