Another Roof Rail Thread

Afternoon all. Sorry for creating yet another roof rail / rack thread, I have searched before hand and haven't found my answer.

So im looking for to add a roof rail and cross bar set up to my 2011 TDV8, ideally a genuine set. I have searched high and low and eventually found what I'am told is a genuine set in a scrap yard. Firstly is there anyway of telling that all the items are OEM? Do they have a logo or part number embossed anywhere?

Secondly, as im unable to post a wanted/for sale post, does anyone here have a set for sale??? Cheers, Andy

yes they have a Land Rover logo on the end caps - it was late in the afternoon when I took the photo below - but you can just make out the Land Rover logo, pretty sure the roof design/measurements stayed the same over the L322 era for the ten years - 2002 to 2012

someone up in Edinburgh was recently selling a set for c.£150 I think. I couldn't get to them in time. They may still have them?

Any idea where you saw the advert for the set in Edinburgh? That’s closer than the other parts I’ve seen. Cheers, Andy

you need to look at the carrying weight capability. a tent + 2/3 people is a big ask of a normal cross bar. Don't the tents come with their own cross bars?
