If it can do over 300 miles of range, loaded up, with my foot down, and all the electrical toys on, I”m in. Otherwise I will stick with the V8 until the battery tech improves. |

Thanks Stan, you got to give in, that woman in their film is looking very nice...and wokeness is in, so we just wait until they are all electric and stand stil in line waiting for the electric towcar to come to bring them home...

I heard about the diesel vans for working on Tesla vehicles a while back, and thought it was odd, but sensible. Maybe Elon Musk knows something we don't |

Found this, comes from a new film called 'Leave the world behind' apparently Mr Musk is not very happy about the pile up of Tesla's, maybe the producer or director had one that broke down

I watched film that the other day, and there was no hiding them being portrayed as Tesla cars rather than self-driving tech, but shaped like Teslas. As for BEV ... I think they are great ... but until the battery tech doesn't degrade over time, then i'm holding off meantime. V8 or else ... |

That is an interesting point about cars being intrinsically safe, on the tankers I sail on all equipment fitted in certain areas has to be intrinsically safe, which is also quite expensive, let lone the challenges it brings / entails.

Interesting info Phoenix thanks for posting that, as we usually think of IS systems preventing sparks, as we carry crude oil, obviously the two do not mix. Not owning an EV I had not considered this aspect, until now that is. This evening has been spent searching for more info on this on the net, when I should have been getting on with other jobs |
