Cold Weather

First cold spell since getting the L405. All the doors frozen shut. The L322 sitting next to it was fine.

Now every door I tried to open, even if it looks closed and flush with the bodywork, is showing on the dash as open so I can't lock the car.

Is this a common experience?

Never happened to mine, maybe you are just unlucky or it has rained on the 405 and it's not been driven to shed some of the water...!! Pete

Get some Gummi Pfledge and liberally apply it to the door seals. Only once per winter season, should solve the problem

My L405 was the same, but GF solved the problem. Not something I’ve experienced in any other car unless super cold. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

I've used a light oil on a cloth to rub over the seals and it hasn't caused any adverse issues but solved the problem First time FFRR owner

Gummi pfledge here too. Had all doors freeze last year, so they’ll be getting a treatment tomorrow. Bigger issue is the mini, which has frameless glass in the doors which freezes in the cold. Mrs S often forgets to put the car away in the garage and then moans that she can’t open it on a frosty morning………
