If you have towing electrics one can get adaptors that plug the trickle charger in there which is the most convenient method as far as I am concerned. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

It won’t help anything because the Recond mode is designed to mix up the separated acid and water in flooded batteries, and AGM batteries aren’t flooded, so that separation doesn’t happen:

I’ve had the CS Free for a few year now and I can tell you it’s pretty disappointing. I thought it was the solution to keeping my BMW X1 12v topped up without the need for an electricity socket in the garage. The reality was despite the cars battery being in decent nick, the CS Free would drain its battery to empty in under 24hrs.
