No
I use "[ECM] DPF Soot" in profile Range Rover, Range Rover 2017-2021 I got this created by developer mainly to catch the SDV8 facelift series as previous profiles didn't have the g soot etc
NB- there are profiles under LandRover and Range Rover tabs.
If you dont have a pid you want that in your profile, email developer he may be able to add it. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

OK, I have now seen it. I will ask for the "ECM DPF distance since last Regeneration" to be added to the "Range Rover, Range Rover 2017-2021". I can then start using this profile - which is more correct for my car.

Current Use "Land Rover, Range Rover 2013-2016 V8 4.4 Diesel", which is the only one I think I have seen with the "distance since last regeneration" sensor. SDV8 AB MY 2020

I hope somebody can help,

I have a 2015 SDV6 3.0 Hybrid RR AB but could not see a profile for this car. What do others do with this same engine?

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?

Thank you.

You don’t actually HAVE to use any profile, -you can just choose “all sensors”, (assuming you know which sensors you wish to select). Once you add these to “Demo Mode” and customise the screen, your sensor selection & layout is saved for next time. Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Hmmm, I just changed mine to include “Miles since last regen” (as well as “Average distance between PF regens”)
It looks OK in Demo mode, but when I connect it to the car, I get 92738 (or similar) Rolling with laughter as a value (since last regen) and no units displayed (or selectable) Sad

Obvs I’ve gone wrong somewhere…… Embarassed
Suppose I could use that screen position to display Soot grams instead, but %Soot is already at the top of my screen, which I find more useful than grams. I’ve set % soot to go from white text to red at 50% (which is when an AR is due) then from white to green under 10% soot. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Your “miles since last regen” is in metres (so you’ve done 92km or around 55 miles), I can’t get it to display miles or km, just m 2017 (67) Vogue SE Corinthian Grey

@Luxmoggy:

So, is it the vehicle, the dongle firmware, or the phone software to blame?

Any idea how to update/reflash the Vgate dongle? Is it even possible? Bow down “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

I think it is in the software

As you can see the value is in KM

What profile are you using? What unit does the sensor say it is? SDV8 AB MY 2020

That’s the average distance between regens, not distance since last regen 2017 (67) Vogue SE Corinthian Grey

Just seen the ECM pid doesn't allow units etc but there is an Average Distance between dpf Regens in the list which works.
Guess you need to email developer if you really want it adding. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Hi Kot, I’m using “all sensors” as its just not there under the profile for a 2017 V6, this is what I see:

i.e. no units under “Sensor Properties” Sad “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Never mind all that, I just got excited Embarassed by the possible use of the App as a HUD, by mirroring the phone screen, choosing black background, turning phone brightness up to 100% and placing on a tacky pad on the dashtop. Thud Shocked Very Happy

Anyone tried this yet? Any good? Sheep “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?
