Solld my diesel RR,because of ULEZ,bought a 2006 4.2 S/C 3 months ago,all good ,checked the ULEZ site,good news its non ULEZ,change my number plate from my van ,which was non conpliant 3 weeks ago,now i hajve just received a ULEZ penalty charge. TFL are telling me i need to get a COC and sent it to DVLA as there`s no EURO status on my V5.....DVLA saying it takes 4-6 weeks...............Cant get any sense from JLR........confused.....TIA.

if your V5 says that this vehicle is ulez compliment then send TFL a copy and the fine will be rescinded..

my personnel plate didnt show up as compliment so i did the above and no charge. ... - .- -.

Given the plate has only just been changed they still think its the van driving into town, the photo should clearly show it isnt.

ULEZ is the NOx value rather than CO2, does your V5 have a value for NOX?

For petrol's its Euro 4 standard and must be below 0.08 g / km so long as your V5 says it is you should be able to contest it.

If you don't have any figure on the V5 then you will have to try and get a certificate of conformity.

Thanks,yes the NOx is 0.078 on the V5. will send them a copy of the V5.

I got my coc free from landrover it didn't help as tfl said it's still not compliant but that's my 4.4 v8 m62 which clearly is as are others. It's a minefield
