The biggest causes of this type of scamming are a)The second, third & fourth words in the OP and b)The inherent greed people have to a greater or lesser degree. |

Hard to argue with those words of wisdom: generally, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that? |

Pretty much what I thought too, but was curious to see if anyone had tried. The other issue with this sort of thying is the harvesting of personal data, which I find objectionable! |

I wouldn't try on the principal that if I hadn't been financially disadvantaged or suffered a physical loss then such a claim would be theft but maybe I'm just old fashioned..... 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

It is a genuine thing - start a legal action on the premise that if one auto maker was using cheat devices, then so were all the rest !
