No they're secured by screws.

IIRC originally the A pillar trims were fixed with rivets .

Could well be. I'm fairly sure that when I checked the front door B-pillar trims they were secured with screws. But that might prove only that they'd been replaced, particularly as they appear unblemished. Unlike those on the rear doors which have still to be addressed. Warwick 2011 L322 TDV8 A/b Orkney Grey 2008 Defender 90 XS TDCi Java Black 2002 L322 TD6 Vogue Zambezi Silver (gone but not forgotten) And one or two bikes - Ok, maybe more than one or two.... |

B pillar trims were always screwed. Workshop manual shows them as being screwed to the doors.
