I have tried the MOST by pass , no change.

Any suggestions please, driving me mad.

Sounds like it could be as simple as a grounding issue or loose plug on the head unit, both of which are well-known problems on these cars.

Start with taking the unit out for a look at the plugs.

Then start looking at grounding points. The easiest to access I can think of is passenger side footwell behind the interior wheel arch trim. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Hi Gary

Thanks for your response, however I have rulerd out a simple power connectivity issue, as this is very rythmic in timing
and the orange flashing light still shows when the screen dies. A loose connection would be more random?

But I will investigate your idea.

Are you getting any random warning lights at the same time? If so, that's how this saga of mine started. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography in black

Hi Stuart.

Absolutely clear of warning lights - no other symptoms whatsoever.

Voltage checked on tick over at 14.0

Screen is live for about a minute, then crashes , in whatever mode I am in at the time and then restarts without any prompting from me a few seconds later

Regards
Dave

It would appear that mine has started doing the exact same thing. It was fine on the previous journey, now it seems to cut out and restart rythmically, but about every 5 seconds unlike Dave's which times in minutes. Reverse camera works fine with no cutting out.

Any pointers would be very much appreciated. Drives:

Well, went out in the car just now and in true Fatty fashion it seems to have forgotten it had a fault and all is working again. We'll see how long that lasts! Drives:

I found mine was due to a dud bluetooth module. Replaced and all was well for a few months, now it's started doing it again. I'll replace the bluetooth again, but if it happens any more then it could be something else making the bluetooth module fail. Drives:
