United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Zermatt Silver
Glovebox light

Bought a LED interior upgrade kit and noticed the glovebox light is missing, most of the vids I have seen show the older models that have the on off plunger switch attached to the light itself.

I have a 2010 and it looks like the on/off plunger switch is attached to the top of the glovebox assembly and not the light itself. Can anyone confirm this or is the plunger on mine is to drop the glovebox cover when you press the button to open it.

That plunger is indeed the on / off switch for the lamp. The opening is via a solenoid on the latch. 2010 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

Thanks for the info, most of the lamps I have seen for sale have the on off plunger on the light unit itself. Those must be for the earlier models I guess.

You can carefully remove and replace the bulb with a pair of long nose pliers. On a 2010, the bulb is a W5W. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
