Thanks for the reply - glad to hear you have a silent Rover. Mine had the same symptoms as yours and took it to an indie. They spent a fair amount of time looking for the fault as no codes related. They then said the BBUS looked knackered and wasn’t sending a signal when testing. That’s now replaced and so far - only a few nights - no noise…. However now when I unlock the truck I get 2 beeps (like on locking with miss lock). Garage is a bit stumped as they are quite sure the problem should be fixed. The noise has only been there since alarm issues. Not sure if it needs a hard reset or there are still issues to be uncovered. I did blank the bonnet sensor but not sure that would be related.

For now if it stays silent and just beeps when opening…. I’ll be happy.

Let’s see!

2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Hi just thought that I would chirp in as I was trawling threads to see what effect pulling fuse 36 might have on towing (I think that this is the only thread that links the two)

Anyway, two chirps on disarming is a warning of a problem with either the alarm volumetric sensor or the tilt sensor (which I think is integral with the BBS)

Thanks for this. I did think odd that it now made the noise although the sounder had been replaced and since no alarm sounding but just the bleeps. I would presume If there was an issue on either it would be picked up on the scan?

Also I should mention I have had the bonnet sensor blanked to access trickle charge when away...
