A much easier home job on the 322 compared with the 405... But if that AF price is correct? Seams a no brainer... Just be careful of the small thin brittle coolant lines! Or better still, factor in replacing them... That's what id do... |

After 18 months and 20k miles, I'm still bucking the trend having changed only the gaskets. No issues and everything is still completely dry. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom |

I’ll chuck my twopennyworth in……the job is roughly 4-5 hours labour, do the oil cooler & forget it. You may get away with gaskets….but…..if it leaks again, that’s another 4-5 hours labour. Just sayin 😜 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

I just replaced the gaskets on mine. No problem. The cooler was absolutely fine and there was no need to replace it. Kev

I reckon it just depends on who is doing the job, if you're doing yourself (no labour cost) then it might be worth just doing the gasket, if you're paying full price to get it done then it makes sense to replace the cooler, |
