Fitted the spare wheel removing strap system. This should avoid me hurting my back trying to remove the wheel if I get a puncture. Unfortunately I hurt my back removing the wheel in order to fit the straps 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Picked it up after having the power steering hoses replaced, happily with original LR parts not aftermarket. |

Picked up my new front dust shields which I'll be modifying to be "slide on" rather than "hub out"

1.Installed a MKIV Navi with 2019 maps. As archaic it may be, it's a far cry from the MKIII and something I can actually use The female voice is also a nice break from the...butler's. And matches the voice command, too

Collected from independent. Oil service and replaced air con compressor, condenser,dryer.regas etc. Whilst the front was off had the serpentine belt and tensioner replaced as well.

Flashed a very nice "Range Rover" splash screen on the new MKIV and edited the "BMW ASSIST" into... "JLR ASSIST" . Always have the tow truck co. on speed dial, of course

Completed a service, new oil, oil filter, air filters, cabin filter and fuel filter, in between down pours of rain. Oh and purchased a deployable side step kit. Also own a 1976 Land Rover 101 3.5 V8.

Installed the wiring loom and fully connected it to the various plugs and sockets for my deployable side steps. Steps to be fitted tomorrow. Also own a 1976 Land Rover 101 3.5 V8.

Got the wheels refurbished in brilliant silver. I'd had them diamond cut previously which looks great for all of about 6 months before the laquer falls apart and the corrosion sets in...

Fitted new rear brake pads and cleaned out the handbrake drums. The handbrake actually works now. |

Had the tracking done. Was driving quite true but felt something was a little off, I thought maybe at the back but it was the fronts.
